Folium was planted by Fromm in 1996, is organically tended and dry-grown on Southern Valley clay around 1.5 metres deep over gravelly silt, and yields Corofin just five rows — 1,200 vines. Wrekin is a small, BioGro-certified, biodynamically farmed site at the top of the valley. Both blocks came off on 6 March. Bunches were slowly pressed over six hours, the juice moved with plenty of solids to seasoned French puncheons and two stainless barrels, and the wine stayed thirteen months on lees before four in tank. Full malolactic conversion, bottled unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStone fruit, grilled nuts and a wisp of smoky reduction, then a full-flavoured palate with snappy acidity and mouth-watering phenolic grip through a layered finish.
