The wine fermented on high solids and aged eighteen months in 500-litre seasoned French oak puncheons with two stainless barrels alongside. Mike Paterson builds these blends from the same vineyards as his single-site wines, which is why the village tier here rarely tastes like a step down.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePulpy intensity and energy, with cool citrus and fleshy lime woven through silken fruit and a nutty complexity behind. The texture is sophisticated without any sense of heaviness. Serve at 12 degrees.
