This release combines Wrekin in the Brancott Valley at 45 per cent, Settlement in the Omaka Valley at 45, and Churton in the Waihopai Valley at 10 — Settlement for elegance and red-fruited suppleness, Wrekin for savoury weight, Churton adding structure and spice. Settlement and Wrekin were picked on 17 and 19 March, Churton on the 29th. All fruit was destemmed to a tank sealed for five days, punched down, fermented ten days more, then pressed to seasoned French barrels for thirteen months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRed cherry and plum with earth, spice and a fine savoury frame, held together by acidity that keeps the middle lively. Serve at 14 degrees in a large glass.
