The Te Muna Road vineyard, planted by Craggy Range in 1999, lies on an older and higher terrace than the original Martinborough plantings, with windier conditions and a later harvest. The winery was founded in 1998 by Terry Peabody with viticulturist Steve Smith MW, built around single-vineyard wines. Fruit is hand-picked, largely destemmed, fermented with indigenous yeast and matured in French oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eServe at 15 degrees with duck, mushroom dishes or roast pork.
