The 2023 shows dark plum, Asian spice, violets and liquorice with hints of cola and graphite. Dark cherry, forest floor and cranberry are woven through fine natural acidity and a touch of French oak. The finish is long and subtle, with enough tension to suggest a good future in the cellar. It makes an interesting comparison with the Pipers River wines from the same year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDecant briefly and serve at around 16 to 17 degrees with lamb shoulder, roast duck or mushroom risotto.
