Dandelion Vineyards, established by Elena and Zar Brooks in 2007, puts Grenache in the lead here. The 2023 is dark and lustrous, with blackberry, white pepper, dried herbs, cocoa and black olive. Grenache gives the berried fruit, Shiraz adds depth and Mataro brings a savoury, drying grip, all wrapped in an inky yet round texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVersatile at the table, it goes with lamb tagine, pork sausages, duck or a vegetable cassoulet.
