The soils tend to produce bright red-fruited wines with fine, powdery structure. Antoine Jobard's parcel was historically known as the Clos des Montrevenots and totals 1.4 hectares, but only about a tenth is currently in production, as most of the site is being replanted with mass-selection cuttings. The vines behind this cuvée are forty-five years old. All the bunches are destemmed and given a week of cold soaking before fermentation, and the wine sees very little new oak, spending twelve months on lees before bottling. Production at this stage is tiny.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking well from release and worth holding for up to a decade.
