Jobard's holdings amount to just over a hectare across five parcels, all within Meursault and all bordering village-level land: Sous la Velle, En l'Ormeau, Les Herbeux, Les Lameroses and La Monatine. The average vine age is around twenty years. The blend also includes two barrels from young vines planted in 2015 in the Saint-Aubin premier cru of Derrière Chez Edouard, declassified into this cuvée. Winemaking is identical to that of the village and premier cru wines, with whole-bunch pressing, indigenous-yeast fermentation and a long, reductive élevage in barrel, which gives a tightly wound Bourgogne that repays a little patience.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBest after a year in bottle and good for five or six.
