The bulk of Jobard's cuvée comes from Les Petits Noizons, a site exposed to the south-east on the hillside above the premiers crus, where the soils are thinner and the wines correspondingly finer boned. The balance comes from Rue au Porc, an evocatively named climat sitting below the village alongside the D974. The holdings are not large and the average vine age across them is around fifty years. Antoine Jobard's reds follow the same logic as his whites, with careful picking and unhurried élevage in barrel, and this one is deep and fleshy with ripe tannins.

Give it three to ten years; serve with roast beef, duck or a game pie at 16-18°C.

*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
