Marsannay became a village appellation in 1987 and is unusual in Burgundy for making red, white and rosé. Its Chardonnay grows on limestone and clay slopes that give freshness and a chalky edge. 2015 was a warm, ripe year in Burgundy, so expect a rounder style that has had time to develop nutty, honeyed notes alongside its citrus core.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe lightly chilled, around 10 to 12 degrees, so the developed flavours can show.
