Laurent Charvin farms organically and takes an unusually consistent line in the cellar: the blend is dominated by Grenache from old bush vines, with small proportions of Syrah, Mourvèdre and the rare local Vaccarèse, and there is no new wood in the winery. Fruit is fermented whole berry in concrete with indigenous yeasts and the wine is then raised in concrete and old foudre before bottling.
