Domaine de l’Arlot, based at Prémeaux-Prissey a little to the north and directed by Géraldine Godot, acquired a few rows in the Quatre Journaux terroir in 1991. The vines there were planted in 1973 and the parcel yields an average of three barrels, which is to say a rounding error in the domaine’s production; the Australian allocation runs to twenty-one bottles. It is made as the rest of the cellar is made, with destemmed fruit, spontaneous fermentation on indigenous yeasts and ageing in French oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorth a decade in the cellar and good for far longer.
