The domaine’s 13 biodynamically farmed parcels are focused on the La Crau plateau but reach across the sandy soils of Charbonnières, the red clay and galets of L’Arnesque and Les Bosquets, the limestone and white clay of Les Esqueirons and Beaurenard, and the red clay and gravels of Les Galimardes, Les Serres and Les Plagnes in the south. Each is vinified separately, which lets the domaine keep the blend balanced and declassify anything that does not fit. This release is 80 per cent Grenache, 10 per cent Mourvèdre, 7 per cent Syrah and 3 per cent Cinsault, naturally fermented and raised for 18 months in concrete vat — up to 90 per cent of it — and large oak, with no new wood, then bottled unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApproachable now and will develop over 15 years or more.
