Crémant de Loire is the region's traditional-method appellation, requiring whole-bunch pressing, a second fermentation in bottle and at least twelve months on lees. Carte Turquoise is pressed white from a majority of Cabernet Franc, which brings weight and a faint red-fruit undertone, with Chenin Blanc supplying acidity and orchard fruit and Chardonnay rounding the middle.
