Domaine des Perdrix takes its name from Aux Perdrix, a premier cru climat of Nuits-Saint-Georges in the commune of Prémeaux-Prissey, of which the domaine owns the greater part. The estate belongs to the Devillard family, who also own Château de Chamirey in Mercurey. The regional wine is hand harvested and made in the same cellar, with much the same care, as the grander bottlings, then raised in barrel with only a small share of new oak.
