Its red grapes are Poulsard, pale-skinned and the most widely planted; Trousseau, which needs the warmest and stoniest sites to ripen; and Pinot Noir, a reminder of how close Burgundy sits. Trois Cépages, as the name says, brings all three together, a long-standing Jura habit that predates the fashion for bottling each variety on its own.
