It has long been counted among the strongest Villages communes, and local growers have pushed for cru status. The family estate is based there, working old gobelet-trained vines and picking by hand. Whole-bunch, semi-carbonic fermentation with a short cuvaison draws out colour and aroma without hard tannin, and ageing in concrete and stainless steel keeps the fruit bright.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJuicy and bright, with crunchy red fruit and fine, low tannin. Chill it lightly to 14–15°C and pour with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled sausages or a simple cheese board.
