The grand cru boundary runs along the road, and the ground below it is a little deeper, though the limestone is the same. Bernard Dugat-Py and his son Loïc work from cellars in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, part of which occupy a medieval tithe building. The domaine is small, farmed organically and known for severe crop levels. The parcel is planted to old vines, which crop lightly of their own accord.
