La Levrière is a named plot within the village appellation rather than a classified premier cru, planted here to very old vines that carry only a small crop. Bernard Dugat-Py and his son Loïc work from cellars in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, part of which occupy a medieval tithe building. The domaine is small, farmed organically and known for severe crop levels.
