The lieu-dit is called Faucertaine and lies just north of Chitry, at the southern edge of the Chablis appellation, on fossil-rich limestone soils that Goisot likens to those of his Gondonne vineyard in the Côtes d'Auxerre. The domaine converted the parcel to biodynamic farming, in line with the rest of its holdings. The wine was fermented in tank and then aged on lees in four 500-litre barrels, one of them new, so there is a little more breadth here than in a tank-raised Chablis without losing the appellation's cut.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking now and will hold five to eight years.
