The lieu-dit is called Faucertaine, and its fossil-ridden limestone soils are close enough in character to the domaine’s Gondonne vineyard in the Côtes d'Auxerre that Goisot draws the comparison himself. The site has been farmed biodynamically since the domaine took it over. The wine was fermented in tank and then aged on lees in four 500-litre barrels, a small-scale, low-intervention approach that suits a parcel of this size.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking now and over the next four to five years.
