The climate is cool and the limestone is Kimmeridgian, the same seam that runs beneath Chablis, so the reds here are built on structure and freshness. La Voie de Cravant is a 0.30-hectare plot in the lower part of the appellation, facing west to south-south-west, on red clay scattered with Kimmeridgian stones. Guilhem Goisot took over the farming of the vines in 2018 from a friend who needed someone to manage the parcel, and the first release followed in 2019. The vines are young and the farming is organic. Altitude, exposition and those stony red clays together give a Pinot Noir with real depth and grip.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking now and should hold comfortably for another five years or so.
