La Voie de Cravant sits in the lower part of the appellation, facing west to south-south-west on red clay studded with Kimmeridgian stones. Goisot took over the farming of the parcel in 2018 from a friend who was looking for someone to manage it, and released the first vintage in 2019; the vines remain young. Farming is organic, as it is across the domaine's holdings around Saint-Bris. The combination of altitude, exposition and stony red clay gives a deeper and more structured Pinot Noir than Irancy's reputation for lightness might suggest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinkable now and likely to hold for five to eight years.
