Germain's is now sourced from seven lieux-dits. Les Vireuils supplies the racy edge, Clos du Cromin on the Volnay side of the commune brings depth and weight, and Les Pellans, right on the Puligny border, adds freshness; Moulin à Judas, Dressoles and two further parcels complete the assemblage. Vine age ranges from 15 to 70 years. The fruit is whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, then raised in barrel with a small proportion of new wood before the parcels are blended in tank ahead of bottling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReady at two years and comfortable for eight.
