Limozin borders Les Charmes, Les Genevrières and Les Poruzots, and its clay-rich soils give an intense, mineral, long-lived wine, one of the finest examples of village Meursault to be found. The vines are now approaching 90 years of age, which adds concentration and power to what the terroir already provides. Domaine Henri Germain, run by Jean-François and Lucie Germain, works in a classical Meursault idiom of barrel fermentation and long lees ageing with modest new oak. The wine is denser than the domaine's Chevalières while remaining racy and mineral.

Drink from a few years after release and through the next decade, with roast chicken, lobster or veal in cream, at 10 to 12°C.

*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
