Aux Gravains takes its name from the light, sandy and gravelly soil that runs through it, faces south, and sits between Les Lavières and Aux Serpentières. Cool air drawn down the combe keeps the fruit fresh, while the soil gives scent, floral lift and fine-grained tannin. Domaine Henri Germain, based in Meursault and now run by Jean-François Germain with his daughter Lucie, bought a small parcel here in March 2021, adding a red Premier Cru to a range better known for its Meursault whites.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinks well from two or three years and holds for a decade.
