Les Tremblots is a village site in Puligny-Montrachet, planted for the most part between 1946 and 1970 and since interplanted with mass-selection cuttings to take the density to 22,000 vines per hectare. He is candid that the high-density plots take more than twice the work of the rest, but the wines have justified it. In the cellar the approach is restrained, with long lees ageing in barrel and very little new wood, which leaves the ripeness, acidity and mineral intensity of the site to carry the wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBest from three years and good for a decade.
