La Chatenière faces south-east high on that slope, catching the morning sun, and the combination of altitude and thin soil gives wines with a firm mineral line. Domaine Hubert Lamy has worked here for generations, and Olivier Lamy's vieilles vignes selection draws on the older plantings within the clos.
