Olivier Lamy holds two hectares planted in 1989 across two distinct plots. One lies close to his Clos de la Chatenière vineyard on a warmer, loosely knit mix of clay and limestone; the other is far rockier, on almost pure limestone, directly adjacent to Chevalier-Montrachet. The second brings a cutting tension to the fleshier, more layered fruit of the first. Frost in April 2021 hit this terroir harder than most on the estate, with final yields down to around 5 hl\/ha, so the quantity available is a fraction of the usual.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBest from three or four years and capable of fifteen.
