Rabourcé lies west of the village, above the well-regarded Cloux vineyard and just below the treeline, on soils of white, limestone-rich clay. It is among the first vineyards in Rully to ripen. Domaine Jaeger Defaix farms vines here that are now 40 to 45 years old, and the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and raised in used oak barrels, so the site's depth comes through without new-oak flavour. The bottling is sealed under Diam.
