This is a recent addition to the domaine's range, drawn from a single lieu-dit at the foot of the Vauvry hillside. The fruit is pressed as whole bunches, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged twelve months in older 500-litre barrels, a size and age of vessel chosen for texture rather than oak flavour. The family's low yields are the other half of the equation, giving the wine calibrated acidity, shape and length that are unusual at village level.
