The white sites sit largely on the western and central parts of the slope, around Rocoules, L'Hermite and Maison Blanche, where clay and loess over granite suit Marsanne particularly well. Wines from here are famously slow to unwind and were historically cellared as long as the reds. Blanche is bottled under the J.L.
