Its standing rests on the growers who work it: Vincent Dauvissat and Raveneau both hold parcels here, and Moreau-Naudet's vines run alongside them. The domaine farms two plots totalling just under two hectares. The first sits beside Dauvissat's vines and matches them in age at roughly 60 years; the second, planted about 25 years ago, lies next to the Raveneau parcel. The estate at Chablis was built up by Stéphane Moreau and is now run by Virginie Moreau, who has kept to the same unhurried approach of low yields, long lees ageing and restrained handling, so the stony, saline signature of the site carries the wine rather than the cellar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApproachable now but better for three to five years in bottle, and sound for a decade.
