The domaine farms just under two hectares in total. The first plot lies next to Dauvissat's and carries vines of about 60 years; the second, next to the Raveneau holding, is around 25 years old. As with the other premier crus in the range apart from Montmains itself, the wine ferments and ages in a mix of stainless steel and used barrels, roughly 30 per cent of the volume in wood, and maturation now extends to two years before bottling. Bottles are sealed with Diam.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking from release and worth eight to ten years in the cellar.
