Moreau-Naudet's holding is spread over three lieux-dits, Les Monts Mains, Les Bouts des Butteaux and Vaux Miolot, with vines averaging seventy years. The Vaux Miolot parcel, on deeper clay soils, is difficult to work but contributes extra flesh and texture. This year the wine was vinified and aged entirely without oak to maximise freshness, a decision that has paid off: the depth of the site is present but the wine stays taut, balanced and long. Hand harvesting, natural yeasts and extended maturation are standard here.
