The Lamarche holding draws on Les Cruots ou Vignes Blanches, Clos-Saint-Denis and Les Champs Traversins, spread across the vineyard. Nicole Lamarche, who has run the domaine since 2007, works with very low yields here, and combined with the estate's deliberately delicate extraction that gives a wine built on lace rather than muscle. Jasper Morris has written that it has almost as much to offer as the domaine's Grands Echézeaux; the latter carries more weight and power, but the Echézeaux is particularly elegant in its immaculate style. It remains among the more fairly priced grand crus in the Côte de Nuits.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApproachable from four or five years and good for fifteen.
