Domaine Saint Damien is based in the village, where Joël Saurel farms on limestone scree and marl washed down from the Dentelles, with vineyards running high enough for the nights to stay cool through summer. Les Prés is a named parcel of Clairette, an old southern Rhône variety that ripens late and holds its acidity on hot sites while staying moderate in alcohol.
