Vincent Dancer, joined at the estate by his son Théo, keeps yields low across the range and handles the whites simply, with whole-bunch pressing and natural fermentation. This cuvée is vinified in a mix of tank and old oak, so there is no new-wood character to get in the way, and it is bottled after a straightforward élevage. It is the sort of Bourgogne that shows what village-quality sites and careful farming can deliver at the base of a range.
