At Nantoux the Dancer family have planted two hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay interspersed with local trees, an agroforestry layout meant to shelter the vines and support biodiversity among the rows. This is the first release from that project. Théo Dancer destemmed all his reds of this vintage completely and extracted this cuvée very lightly, with a single punch-down simply to wet the cap, then raised it in older barrels. The intention is a bright, sappy and unforced style that shows the altitude of the site rather than any attempt at density, and it is bottled without heavy handling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrink over the next three to five years, and a brief chill does it no harm.
