Dancer's parcel lies in the section historically known as La Grande Bourne, right on the Santenay border and low enough on the slope to carry more clay in the profile than his other Morgeot holding at Tête du Clos. The rock beneath is hard limestone and the vines are planted at very high density, which restricts the crop each one carries and yields small, concentrated bunches. This is only the third release of the wine, the planting dating from 2013. Handling follows the domaine's standard: hand-picking, whole-bunch pressing, natural fermentation and maturation in older barrels, with the balance tilted towards freshness and precision rather than weight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBest from three years and through the following decade.
