The domaine, at Chassagne, is run by Vincent Dancer with his son Théo and works small parcels across Chassagne, Meursault and Pommard. This plot was replanted in 2017 with mass-selection cuttings developed with Lilian Bérillon, the nurseryman who supplies growers such as Chave, Bize-Leroy and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Red winemaking here follows the house pattern of full destemming and very gentle extraction, which favours perfume and transparency over weight. The result is layered and scented, but more savoury and earthy in register than the domaine's Pommard bottlings, as befits Chassagne.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinkable young and good for eight to ten years.
