Les Voillenots Dessus, planted in 1999, lies just below the Dancer cellars, while La Bergerie is on the same line a little further north, right on the boundary with Puligny-Montrachet, with vines a few years younger. Vincent Dancer and his son Théo work the estate at low yields and vinify the whites plainly: whole-bunch pressing, natural fermentation, very little new oak and long ageing on lees. That restraint is why the village wines here tend to show more definition and depth than the label suggests.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking well from release and good for six to eight years.
