Vincent Dureuil-Janthial farms across the commune and has led the shift to organics there. This wine comes from five parcels covering just under three hectares in total: Maizières, Rosey, Montagne de Remenot and two plots in En Guesnes. Their average vine age is now around 50 years, which is unusual at village level and shows in the depth of fruit rather than in any extra weight. The farming is organic throughout, and the wine is made in the domaine's usual unforced manner, with restrained extraction and modest use of oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReady on release and good for five or six years, it suits roast duck, coq au vin or a mushroom tart.
