Syrah leads, joined by roughly ten percent Viognier that is picked and fermented with it. Bunches arrive by hand, spend about three weeks fermenting in open vats, then eighteen months in barriques.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eViolets and red berries come first, and the palate stays light on its feet with tannins that are fine and unobtrusive.
