Today it is farmed with close attention and picked by hand. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates, with Cabernet Franc adding perfume and Petit Verdot bringing colour and spice, and the wine is matured in French oak. In the balanced 2016 season the estate made a compact, reserved wine of deep forest berries, juniper and truffle, with fine tannins and hints of lavender and dark chocolate waiting to unfold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStill reserved, this will reward another decade in the cellar.
