The site is warm and relatively early ripening, giving a Riesling with generous fruit and a rounder shape than the limestone-influenced Altenberg alongside it. Dr. Bürklin-Wolf, founded in 1597 and biodynamic under Demeter certification since the early 2000s, ranks it P.C. within the Burgundian-style hierarchy the estate revived from its historic vineyard classification.
