Martinborough's dry autumns and cool nights let the grape ripen slowly and hold freshness, while the stony terrace soils keep yields low. The variety is known for its perfume of rose petal, lychee and spice, and for a naturally rich, rounded texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe chilled, around 8 to 10 degrees, alongside Moroccan tagines, Thai or Indian curries, or washed-rind cheese.
