Equipo Navazos began as a project by Jesús Barquín and Eduardo Ojeda to seek out exceptional individual butts and bottle them as they were; this one comes from a sixty-cask selection at La Guita, the house where Ojeda long oversaw production as technical director of José Estévez. The wine spent around four and a half years under flor, longer than most manzanilla on the market, and was drawn straight from cask with only the lightest filtration, as was standard in Jerez before sterile filtration took over. That accounts for both its deeper gold colour and its texture. This bottling was drawn in March 2024.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrink soon after opening and keep the bottle in the fridge.
