Single-vineyard fino is now extremely rare, and this solera has supplied a long line of La Bota releases alongside the Inocente bottling itself. For No. 115, Eduardo Ojeda selected the oldest casks for complexity and the second criadera for freshness, then blended in younger criaderas from the same Macharnudo Alto holding. The wine ages biologically under a veil of flor, which shields it from oxygen and gives fino its pale colour and savoury cut. Average age here is close to eight years, a little younger than earlier editions, and the saca was drawn in August 2022.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe well chilled at 8–10°C, in a white wine glass rather than a copita, and treat it as a table wine.
