The holandas for this bottling were unearthed in a bodega in Jerez, double-distilled in the French manner to 72 per cent alcohol. The spirit spent its first twelve years in new Limousin oak butts and the remainder in former oloroso butts, reaching close to twenty years of age. A single butt was then selected and bottled by hand in full, yielding around 800 bottles at 42 per cent alcohol.
